Founder of Edifis Ltd. A technologist with 15 years experience at board level within companies from £1M. to £45M
Holder of a number of patents in areas of image processing. Philip is an advocate of  matching the correct technology to the customers requirements. "Technology exists to solve problems - not for its own sake".

Prior to founding Edifis Philip was Technical Director of Solid State Logic (SSL) in Oxford. During his time there he brought new digital techniiques to the professional audio world, being responsible for a range of products involving both Audio and Video integration. The company turnover and profitability grew continuously during his period as Director directly as a result of new product innovation. He also led the company to win  the Queens Award for Technology.

John Balmer
Operations Director

John brings a background of Engineering Managment to Edifis.  Prior to co-founding Edifis her was Engineering manager at SSL being responsible for change management in introducing new technology to manufacturing and sales parts of the company.
