Stillstation is designed as a Still Store for use in the telecine/grading suite.
The system includes a mixer and wipe pattern generator, which allows a simple side by side comparison of stored frames and the ungraded video.
Stillstation is connected to the output of a colour corrector and can be controlled directly from the colour corrector via RS422.
Control of the wipe patterns is from a dedicated control panel with familiar Tbar control arm.
Wipe patterns are easily selected from a dedicated menu. Horizontal and vertical wipes, as well as dissolves can be chosen. It is also possible to draw a box wipe pattern and position that anywhere on the picture.
Hardware buttons on the control panel allow the user to quickly toggle between a vertical and horizontal wipe pattern, as well as to turn off the wipe completely.
It is possible to store and retrieve any number of
stills at the press of a button from the control panel . Frames can be
‘grabbed’ using just a single button, the system
software performs accurate and reliable management of stills.
