Diverse, one of London’s leading production companies has purchased an Edifis Finaliser grading and finishing system. Finaliser is used to colour correct and create HD, PAL and NTSC deliverables from a single HD or SD edit-master.
Paul Bates – Head of Post Production at Diverse explains some of the reasons that prompted them to select Finaliser “We have been considering establishing our own dedicated grading facility for some time now. Previously, we colour corrected projects in our non-linear edit suites but the bottlenecks caused in our schedules by the need for these systems to render, and our own increasing workload ensured we had to act now. We required a fast system that matched our creative needs and aspirations. After evaluating the market we chose Finaliser from Edifis. We had seen what could be achieved using the system on some of our earlier projects and were delighted to purchase Finaliser.“
Richard Lilley – Sales Director Edifis adds: “We are delighted to be working with Paul Bates and his talented team. Diverse has a reputation for its modern and alternative approach to TV programme making, creating quality factual and educational content across all genres notably documentaries, history, science, arts and multicultural. They have always been committed to editorial and visual originality and the purchase of Finaliser will extend that tradition.”
